Nothing fancy folks. I just had to capture my kiddos eating pickles in their 'pickle chair'. It is something that they made up on their own. They run and get pickles...then start chanting "pickle chair! pickle chair! pickle chair..." and then they go plop themselves down in our old recliner and start crunching away. Weird, I know. But cute. My children have countless games that only they understand. I love witnessing the close relationship that they share with one another.
It's things like these that I hope I can remember in my mind's eye long after they are grown. Maybe these pictures will help.
(Please excuse the horrible lighting. The floor lamp + the dark cave where I live + at night = ...you get the idea.)

randomness....
Couldn't get enough of Thing One and Thing Two?? (Can't say that I blame you...)
Here are some random quotes and snapshots of my two hooligans that made me smile for your enjoyment/boredom/consideration/ etc etc...
"Humor is a reminder that no matter how high the throne one sits on, one sits on one's bottom." ~Taki
"No road is long with good company." ~Turkish Proverb
"Of all the animals, the boy is the most unmanageable." ~Plato
"I like her because she smiles at me and means it." ~Anonymous
"Even if there is nothing to laugh about, laugh on credit." ~Author Unknown
I will be writing something of more substance soon! (hopefully)Ü

Remember Charlie?
He is nearly two months old!

I had the pleasure of photographing him recently. He is doing quite well, and he wants to thank all of you for your thoughts and prayers.

newbie
Did you know that four week olds have their own agenda--whether you are trying to do a portrait session or not?
Just look at this little guy though, isn't he sweet?

Natural Beauty.
That is what I thought of when I saw these images coming off my memory card. This is one of my last mini sessions for Charlie and his family. (She actually purchased two slots so we would be sure to get some great shots of her three kiddos!)
They were great fun to work with, and their love for each other is apparent.
Here are some of my (many) favorites from this session:
